Jess Johnstone has a diverse background in research and management, with significant roles across various organizations. Jess served as a Research Portfolio Officer at the Economic and Social Research Council from November 2014 to April 2016. Subsequently, Jess held multiple positions at the Arts and Humanities Research Council, including Senior Manager in the Executive Chair’s Office, Senior Investment Manager, and International Portfolio Manager from May 2020 to February 2022. After a brief tenure as an International Research Development Associate at the University of Bristol, Jess transitioned to the Cabinet Office as Chief of Staff from February 2022 to May 2023.
