Jim Simmons

Jim Simmons is a Chief Engineer in BCA Structures Design at Boeing, where they lead initiatives in additive manufacturing. They have previously held the role of Sr. Manager at The Boeing Company from 1983 to 2020, focusing on product development and additive manufacturing. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Design Engineer at Westinghouse Marine Division, specializing in the thermodynamic design of steam turbines. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington College of Engineering between 1977 and 1981.
