Joel Smith

Joel Smith, MBA, is an Associate Technical Fellow specializing in Development Assurance and Systems Engineering with over a decade of experience in the aerospace industry. Currently a Senior Systems Engineer at Boeing, they focus on the Commercial Airplanes portfolio, leveraging their expertise in SAE ARP4754 and ARP4761 standards to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations. Joel has also contributed to industry standards as a voting member of the SAE S-18 Committee. They hold a Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington and both an MBA and an MS from the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
