Dr. Joel Thompson is an Associate Technical Fellow in Applied Mathematics at Boeing, where they have been working since January 2015. With a strong background in mathematical modeling and optimization, Dr. Thompson develops innovative solutions across commercial, research, and defense sectors. Prior to their current role, they served as a software engineer and consultant at Agisent Technologies and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Tennessee Space Institute. Dr. Thompson holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and several professional certificates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including one in Quantum Computing Applications.
