John A. Silva

John A. Silva is an experienced cybersecurity and information assurance professional with a robust background in information systems security. Currently serving as a Computing Security & Information Protection Specialist at Boeing Aerospace Services International since January 2011, Silva also holds a concurrent role as an Information Systems Security Officer at The Boeing Company since January 2009. Previous roles include positions as an Info Assurance Sec Sys Engineer at STG Inc., an Info Assurance Sec Sys Engineering Consultant at Intergraph, and a Systems Administrator/Security Officer at Excelis-ITT Industries. Silva's extensive experience spans various projects in military and commercial sectors, including the development of security plans, vulnerability assessments, and technical support for complex systems. Silva earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The City College of New York.
