John Dixon

Configuration Design / Boeing Technical Fellow

John Dixon is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in configuration design and advanced engineering concepts. Beginning at Beechcraft as an Advanced Design Engineer, John led design efforts for the Premier I and Hawker Horizon executive jets. This experience was followed by a long tenure at Boeing, where John held multiple roles, including Configuration Design Engineer and Functional Excellence Tools Development Lead, focusing on optimizing airplane configurations and developing design process software. Most recently, John served as a Senior Configuration Engineer at Skydweller Aero, working on high-altitude solar-powered aircraft, and currently operates as a Configuration Design / Boeing Technical Fellow, contributing to zero-carbon aircraft systems within the Boeing Research & Technology team. John holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
