John Lin

John Lin is a Technical Fellow at Boeing Research & Technology, where they focus on Structures Technology, including Structural Repair, Sustainment, and Digital Transformation. Prior to this role, John served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan and as a Senior Consultant at Optimal Engineering, Inc. They held the position of Associate Technical Fellow at Boeing from 2012 to 2023 and were the Stress Methods & Allowables Lead for the F-22 program. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Solid Mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
