John Sassaman is an ethics and compliance counsel with extensive experience on Capitol Hill. They served as Senior Counsel for the US House Ethics Committee from 2001 to 2008 and as Chief Counsel and Staff Director for the US Senate Select Committee on Ethics from 2008 to 2014. After working as Director of Ethics & Business Conduct at The Boeing Company from 2014 to 2018, they currently hold the position of Chief Counsel for Ethics & Compliance at Boeing. Sassaman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Haverford College and a Doctor of Law degree, cum laude, from Albany Law School, where they also served as Editor in Chief of the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology.
