John Slye is a seasoned professional in aerospace engineering and safety with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently, John serves as the Senior Director for BDS Safety, Certification and Airworthiness at Boeing since September 2022. Prior to this, John held the position of Senior Associate at Dayton Aerospace and the role of Deputy Program Executive Officer at the USAF from May 2017 to December 2021. His career includes significant experience as Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer within the United States Air Force. John earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
