John Yakubowsky is a Boeing Technical Fellow Emeritus who retired in February 2015 after a distinguished career at Boeing from 1989 to 2014, specializing in Continuous Analysis and Surveillance Systems. With 40 years in the aviation industry, Yakubowsky developed extensive technical knowledge as a line mechanic, Flight Engineer, and Lead Reliability Engineer in the 777 Mechanical/Hydraulic Design group. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and formerly served as Chairman of the ATA's Reliability Interest Group. Currently, Yakubowsky is involved in updating AC 120-17A as a participant in the FAA Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee.
