Jon Ballast

Jon Ballast has extensive experience in the field of microelectronics and engineering leadership. Beginning a career as a Digital ASIC & FPGA Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman Space Technology from 2002 to 2007, Jon then transitioned to a similar role at Boeing from June 2007 to November 2019. Jon progressed to a Senior Manager position at Boeing Research & Technology from November 2019 to February 2023, where management of a team of 100 engineers focused on R&D for military and aerospace systems took place. Currently, Jon serves as the Director of Advanced Electronics Programs within the Disruptive Computing, Networks & Sensors division at Boeing. Educational credentials include studies at the University of Southern California from 1997 to 2003.
