Jon M Akers

Jon M Akers is a Senior Lean Leader at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where they are currently overseeing the Lean Cultural transformation of the BCA Fabrication division. With over 34 years at Boeing, Jon has held various roles including Lean Consultant and Operational Excellence Leader, focusing on implementing True Lean systems and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. In addition to their corporate experience, Jon co-founded the Washingtonians for Wildlife Conservation and served as President of the Washington State Bowhunters. They are pursuing degrees in Workforce Education and Development at the University of Southern Illinois Carbondale and Business Administration at Green River Community College.
