Joseph D. Schaefer is a Technical Fellow at Boeing Research & Technology, where they lead research and development teams. They have extensive experience in structural analysis and composite materials, having contributed significantly to projects funded by the Department of Defense. They hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and have published over 50 papers while securing numerous patents. Joseph also serves as a Chair for the Analysis and Testing Division of the American Society for Composites and is an active member of various technical committees.
