Joshua Whitehead

Joshua Whitehead is a Senior Linux Platform Software Engineer at Boeing, where they have been contributing since 2022. Previously, Joshua served as an Embedded Avionics and Autonomy Software Engineer at Vayu Aerospace Corporation from 2021 to 2022, and as an Embedded Systems Engineer II at DornerWorks from 2014 to 2021. During their time at DornerWorks, Joshua played a key role in commercial Unmanned Aerial Systems projects, focusing on software development across various ARM architectures and real-time operating systems. Joshua began their engineering career as an intern at Engine Power Components LLC in 2012 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Grand Valley State University, which they completed in 2014.
