Katherine Yu

Katherine Yu is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and materials engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 2003. Katherine began the career as an Engineering Co-op at Johnson & Johnson in 2002, followed by a role as a Chemist at Watson Pharmaceuticals from 2003 to 2005. Katherine progressed at Henkel, serving as a Scientist and later as a Senior Scientist from 2005 to 2014. After a hiatus from the corporate sector, Katherine transitioned into education as a Chemistry Teacher at EMPOWER COLLEGE PREP, a position held from 2018 to 2023, followed by a brief tenure as Chemistry Laboratory Coordinator at Grand Canyon University. Currently, Katherine holds the position of Materials and Processes Engineer at Boeing, starting in November 2023.
