Dr. Katie Chou, PE, ENV SP, is a senior project manager and pavement engineer with extensive experience in airport engineering and infrastructure assessment. With a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, they have led significant projects, including the planning, design, and construction support services for the $5 billion LAX Modernization Program. Dr. Chou has served as the airside design manager for Hong Kong International Airport's Three Runway System Project and currently works as a Senior Engineer/Consultant for Boeing Airport Technology Engineering. Active in the industry, they hold several committee chair positions within the Transportation Research Board and have previously contributed as a board member for the ASCE Transportation & Development Institute.
