Kayla Smith

Kayla Smith is an ECS Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from Seattle University. They have completed several training classes to enhance their modeling skills in CATIA and SolidWorks, demonstrating a strong interest in 3D printing and design. Kayla has previous experience as a Machine Learning Intern at Groundlight AI and has held various roles at Boeing, including Environmental Control Systems Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineer and Engineering Intern. Additionally, they worked as a Kennel Assistant at Highland's Bird & Pet Clinic, providing care for boarding pets and assisting the veterinarian. In their free time, Kayla enjoys video games, board games, hiking, spending time with their dog, and stargazing.
