Lawrence Burt

Lawrence Burt is a seasoned professional in the defense sector, currently serving as the Senior Director of Navy TACAIR Programs at Boeing since 2017. They began their career in the US Navy, where they served as an Officer and Pilot from 1981 to 2003, later becoming the Commander of Carrier Air Wing Two until 2006. Burt continued to build their leadership skills as Military Assistant to the Director of Defense Research and Engineering from 2006 to 2008, before joining Boeing, where they have held several roles including Director of Global Sales and Marketing for Global Strike. They contributed as a board member of the Precision Strike Association from 2008 to 2011 and have extensive educational credentials, holding a BS in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the US Naval War College.
