Martyn Young

Martyn Young possesses extensive experience in aerospace engineering, beginning as a Senior Stress Engineer at Boeing Aerostructures Australia (formerly Government Aircraft Factories) from January 1984 to March 1988. Following this role, Martyn worked as a Senior Structures Engineer at Qantas from March 1988 to November 1997, where responsibilities included stress and structures engineering, design signatory duties, and the development of modifications and inspection programs for various aircraft models. Since May 2001, Martyn has served as an Aerospace Engineer at Boeing, acting as an authorized representative and structures consultant for the 777X program, specifically focusing on the wing trailing edge. Martyn holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, specializing in Structural Engineering, from RMIT University, completed in 1983.
