Mary Moran

Mary Moran holds over 27 years of experience in engineering and program management, currently serving as the 777 Director of Engineering at Boeing since January 2007. In this role, Mary has demonstrated strategic thinking, culture development, and program management by leveraging operator perspectives and fostering an open team culture to address challenges in the 777-9 Fleet Entry. Previous positions include 777 Fleet Chief Engineer, where Mary focused on customer engagement and safety risk management, and Director of Engineering & Regulatory Affairs, leading regulatory strategy for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Earlier roles featured expertise in certification processes and international validation efforts, contributing to enhanced delivery rates and collaborations with regulatory bodies. Mary holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Catholic University of America and an MBA in Project Management from Capella University.
