Matt Gilbert is an Aerodynamics Stability and Control Engineer with Boeing Commercial Airplanes, currently leading the 737 MAX Development team in the certification efforts for the 737-7 and 737-10 airplanes. Previously, they worked in various roles at Boeing, including Aerodynamics Performance Engineering and Safety Engineering. Matt earned both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. A lifelong airplane enthusiast, they hold a Commercial Pilot certificate and actively engage in the general aviation community while focusing on aerodynamic design, optimization, and aviation safety.
