Medhat Azzazy is an experienced engineer and scientist with a robust background in sensor systems and imaging technologies. At Irvine Sensors from November 2005 to June 2017, Azzazy served as Chief Scientist in the Sensor Systems Group, focusing on the development and technical support of space-based imaging systems across various spectral regions, including visible and infrared wavelengths. Azzazy currently holds the position of Senior Principal Engineer at Raytheon Space Systems since 2019 and has also worked as a Senior Scientist at SAIC from 1990 to 2004 and as Manager of Systems and Optics Engineering at N2 Imaging Systems from August 2017 to 2019. Azzazy's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition, Azzazy is currently employed as a Senior Principal System Engineer at Boeing, starting in June 2023.
