Mic “Banjo” Smith

Mic “Banjo” Smith is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as the Target Effects Team Chief in the Combat Plans Division of the 157th Air Operations Group with the Air National Guard since January 2021. Additionally, Mic Smith holds the position of F-15 & Phantom Works Test Pilot at Boeing since April 2025. Mic Smith is a graduate of the United States Naval Test Pilot School, where an advanced study in Experimental Flight Test was completed from 2015 to 2016. Earlier academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences obtained from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2004 and 2008.
