Michael Sarkkinen

Michael Sarkkinen has extensive experience in facilities management, procurement, and project management, with a career that spans over 15 years. At Boeing, Michael served as Facilities Manager, overseeing 4 million square feet of production and office facilities, managing 20 direct employees and 60 contractors, and handling over 23 service contracts. Previous roles at Boeing included Senior Procurement Agent and Equipment Engineer, where Michael led negotiations, developed supply chain strategies, and managed technical projects as a subject matter expert in CNC machines. Additionally, Michael has served in the US Army as a Construction Superintendent since 2004, managing substantial annual budgets and personnel. Michael's earlier experience includes roles as an Automotive Technician at Firestone and a Heavy Equipment Operator at Tapani, Inc. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management and a Master of Business Administration specializing in Project Management, both from The Citadel.
