Mike Rootjes

Mike Rootjes has over a decade of experience at The Boeing Company, serving as a Supply Chain Procurement Agent from January 2008 to July 2018, where significant cost-saving initiatives resulted in $2.5M savings through technical solutions for critical part assembly. Currently, as a Senior Project Manager and Solution Train Engineer since July 2018, Mike leads cross-functional teams to effectively reintegrate excess inventory into the production stream, achieving a notable $50M reduction in inventory through strong stakeholder integration and schedule management. Mike holds an MBA in Project Management from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Operations from Washington State University.
