Nicholas Patrick

Vice President & Functional Chief Engineer for Human Factors

Nicholas Patrick is an accomplished engineer, astronaut, and pilot with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. They began their career at GE Aircraft Engines, where they participated in the Engineering Development Program. Following this, they served as an astronaut at NASA, contributing to missions that included operating robotic arms and leading human-systems integration efforts. Nicholas transitioned to Blue Origin as a Human Integration Architect and later managed teams focused on human factors and user-centered design for spacecraft. Currently, they are the Vice President and Functional Chief Engineer for Human Factors at Boeing while pursuing degrees in engineering from Cambridge and a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
