Rafe Husain

Rafe Husain is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in FPGA design and consulting. Currently serving as an FPGA Engineer at Boeing since July 2024, Rafe previously held the position of Senior FPGA Engineer at MTI Laboratory, Inc., where projects included 5G soft FPGA development and testing digital RF power estimator blocks. As the Founder of CaliBike, Rafe has been involved in the sales of ebike and smart EV batteries since 2013. Earlier roles include Senior Technical Consultant at Mercury Defense Systems, where Rafe modularized FPGA IP libraries, and Principal Engineer at Broadcom, focusing on FPGA baseband chip test platforms. Rafe also has a background as the Founder and Consultant at RDLABS, providing custom FPGA solutions, and as a Senior Engineering Consultant at ThinKom Solutions, Inc. Rafe's educational foundation includes a BS in Math Engineering from the University of Michigan, earned between 1976 and 1981.
