Raphael Opon

Raphael Opon is an incoming Information System Security Officer (ISSO) currently expanding their skill set in the cyber industry. With demonstrated experience in threat analysis, network monitoring, and security methodologies, Raphael has held various positions, including Operations Officer in the US Navy and Cyber Vulnerability Assessment Analyst at Raytheon Missiles & Defense. They hold dual Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology: Law and Society, and International Relations and National Security Studies from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Raphael is dedicated to mentoring diverse teams, fostering inclusive environments, and continuously pursuing personal and professional development.
