Richard Pillans

Richard Pillans is the Chief Test Pilot for Boeing in the UK, a position held since 2014. With prior experience as a Senior Test Pilot at the Rotary Wing Test & Evaluation Squadron from 2007 to 2010, they also served as a Deputy Director of Aviation (Manned) at QinetiQ from 2012 to 2014. Before these roles, Richard gained valuable experience as a Helicopter Pilot and Flight Commander in the British Army from 1999 to 2006. They earned a 1st Class BEng (Hons) in Avionics Systems Engineering from the University of Bristol in 1999.
