Richard Tarbill

Richard Tarbill has extensive experience in aerospace engineering and flight testing, currently serving as a Flight Test Engineer at Boeing since November 2004, with expertise in aerodynamic performance, stability and control, and flight controls. Richard has participated in various certification tests and performance evaluations for experimental test airplanes, including takeoff performance, stalls, and airspeed calibration, and has held a Flight Test Manager position since 2015. Richard's education includes multiple degrees from Penn State University and the University of Washington, culminating in a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Professional Studies in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems with a focus on wind energy. Additionally, Richard has experience as a rower and adventurer with OAR Northwest, where over 700 miles were rowed around Vancouver Island in collaboration with scientific groups.
