Rob Martin is vice president and chief financial officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Martin is responsible for the strategic financial management and long-range business planning at the business unit. He was appointed to the role in 2022.

Earlier, Martin served as the vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis for The Boeing Company. In this role, Martin led the team responsible for developing financial forecasts and annual plans at the corporate level.

Martin previously served as director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Boeing Global Services. In this role, Martin led the Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, Affordability and Working Capital teams. Additionally, Martin served as Chief Financial Officer for Boeing Distribution, Inc. and the Business & General Aviation business. Martin was part of the team that stood up the Boeing Global Services business in 2017.

Over his 15 years with Boeing, Martin has served in a variety of technical and leadership roles across Boeing Global Services, Boeing Corporate offices and Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Seattle University.
