Ronit Basu

Ronit Basu is an accomplished engineering student with experience in aerospace and ocean research, holding a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech. At the Hume Center for National Security and Technology, Ronit served as an Undergraduate Aerospace and Ocean Research Student Assistant from September 2021 to December 2022, where responsibilities included leading thermal management and communications for a VT/Nuvu/CSA CubeSat team. Previous experience includes serving as the City of Parkland Mayor's Intern, where over 350 hours of volunteer work led to official recognition. In July 2024, Ronit joined Boeing as an Electronic Product Design and Analysis Engineer, contributing to the One Boeing Electronics Product Design Team.
