Sreekumar Thampi is a Technical Fellow with Boeing's Space and Launch business division in Houston, TX. After earning a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1989, Sree worked as a Systems Engineer at GE Government Services before joining Lockheed Martin as a Lead Engineer. Sree has contributed significantly to programs such as the International Space Station and the Space Launch System, and has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Space & Launch Engineer of the Year Award in 2019. Furthermore, Sree holds a B.Tech. in Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an M.S. in Ocean Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
