Stephen Laing is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the aviation simulation industry. Currently serving as a Manager and B777x simulator engineer at Boeing since November 2018, Stephen oversees various technical projects. Prior to this role, Stephen worked at L-3 Communications as a Software Engineer from July 2012 to November 2018, where responsibilities included managing the technical development of the first A350 XWB simulator. Stephen's career began at THALES Training and Simulation Limited, where from September 2000 to July 2012, significant contributions were made as an Avionics Engineer, including leading a team to complete complex avionics simulations. Stephen Laing holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, earned between 1997 and 2000.
