Steven Spear

Steven Spear is currently the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer for the V-22 Osprey at Boeing, a position they have held since 2019 after serving as the Senior Manager of Systems Engineering for the same program. They previously worked on the H-47 Chinook Helicopter program as the Senior Manager and Chief of Structural Engineering and have held various leadership roles within Boeing Military Aircraft’s Philadelphia operation. Spear began their career at Boeing in 1993 as a rotor systems design engineer and has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
