Thomas Ackermann

Thomas Ackermann is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in structural analysis and mechanical engineering. Currently employed at Boeing since February 2022 as a Structural Analysis Engineer, Thomas focuses on ensuring the operational safety of the 787 aircraft by assessing the impact of manufacturing discrepancies on secondary structures. Prior to this role, Thomas worked at Relativity Space, conducting analyses on the Terran 1 rocket, and at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where responsibilities included leading structural analysis for the EMIT spectrometer and supporting the Europa Clipper mission. Thomas holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, where academic research involved studying biological processes in relation to physical stimuli.
