Tristan Perez

Tristan Perez, PhD, serves as the Chief Scientist for Autonomous Systems at Boeing's CTO Office, where they lead advancements in collaborative autonomy. Prior to this role, Tristan held notable positions in academia, including Honorary Professor at The University of Queensland and Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle. They have contributed to various research initiatives, focusing on marine cybernetics and dynamics and control. Tristan has also been actively involved with the International Federation of Automatic Control as the Chair of the Technical Committee for Marine Systems. Their educational background includes a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor’s in Electronics from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
