Richard Bolk

Richard Bolk is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of IT Operations at Boels Rental since March 2024, overseeing system administration, helpdesk, and corporate security across Europe. Prior to this role, Richard spent nearly 24 years at Boston Scientific, holding various senior management positions related to IT operations and infrastructure, including responsibilities for EMEA operations and global end-user services. Richard has a strong background in managing hardware and software procurement, helpdesk support, and implementing innovative technologies, such as Microsoft’s WVD during the Covid pandemic. Earlier career experiences include consulting roles at Debis IT Services Benelux and systems administration at Mitel b.v., complemented by a degree in Technical Information Systems from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
