Marine Mammal And Sea Turtle Biologist at Bureau of Ocean Energy Management

Ingrid Biedron is a marine biologist currently employed at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since October 2022, focusing on offshore wind impacts to marine ecosystems in the Pacific Region. Previously, Ingrid served as a Communications and Public Affairs Specialist and Biologist at NOAA from August 2018 to October 2022. Ingrid has extensive teaching experience, including positions as an Adjunct Professor at Boston University and Georgetown University, and as an instructor at the Marine Studies Consortium and Dartmouth College. Ingrid's early career includes work as a Scientific and Technical Consultant for the North Atlantic right whale campaign at the International Fund for Animal Welfare and as a Marine Scientist at Oceana. Ingrid holds a Ph.D. in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources Management and a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Biology from Cornell University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental & Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies with Honors from Dartmouth College.
