Harold Scattergood

Mr. Scattergood started in the business in 1970 with Boenning & Scattergood and has been with the firm ever since. Following in the footsteps of his father, Harold Sr., Boenning & Scattergood has continued to grow and develop into what it is today under the Scattergood’s stewardship.

Harold is a graduate of Marquette University, class of 1970. He completed the SIA’s Executive Leadership Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has served on various committees such as the Business Conduct Committee for the NASD (now known as FINRA) and the SIA Mid-Atlantic Group. He is a past President and former Governor of the Bond Club of Philadelphia and was a Governor of the Philadelphia Securities Association. He was a Founder and Director of Founders Bank in Bryn Mawr, PA, an FDIC insured institution that was acquired by Susquehanna Bancshares. He served on the Development Committee and is a former member of The Board of Trustees for St. Joseph’s Preparatory School in Philadelphia, PA. Harold is a Life Member of the Union League of Philadelphia and a member of Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA.

He is a registered Principal with FINRA and holds the Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.
