Heather Saker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Heather currently works as a Mathematics Teacher at Boerne ISD since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD as a Teacher from August 2016 to August 2021. Heather also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Upper Iowa University from January 2014 to August 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher at Grant Parish School Board from August 2013 to May 2016. Before that, they had a role as a Graduate Assistant at Louisiana State University from May 2012 to August 2013. Heather also gained experience as a Library Assistant/Student Worker at the University of Texas at Dallas from August 2010 to June 2012. Heather worked as a Learning Center Tutor at Richland College from August 2010 to December 2010. Heather started their teaching career as a 5th Grade Mathematics and Science Teacher at Grace Christian School from August 2002 to May 2003. Prior to that, they worked as a Recreation Aide at LA Special Education Center from May 1997 to May 1998. Additionally, they had a role as a Clinician/Tutor at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes from May 2006 to May 2007.
Heather Saker holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Northwestern State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in Natural Science with a focus on Mathematics from Louisiana State University. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained a Standard Texas Educator Certificate from the Texas Education Agency in March 2017.
