Kerri Sparkman

Kerri Sparkman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kerri started their career as a Teller/Loan Processor at Marine Federal Credit Union, where they were responsible for processing customer transactions and handling business accounts. Kerri then worked at Kerrville Telephone Company as an Internet Technician and Customer Service Representative, providing technical support and virus removal for client computers. Kerri then moved on to Kerrville ISD, where they worked as a Computer Technologist, integrating technology in the classroom and teaching staff development courses on web and media integration tools. At Judson High School, they served as an AV Production Teacher, imparting their knowledge of audiovisual production to students. Kerri then worked at City of Kerrville, Texas as a Multimedia Technician, before joining Boerne ISD as a Digital Learning Specialist. In their current role, they facilitate the use of digital tools and resources at the K-12 level, ensuring equitable access to technology in classrooms. Overall, Kerri Sparkman has a well-rounded background in technology integration, customer service, and education.

Kerri Sparkman holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration from Schreiner University from 1999 to 2001.

In addition to their degrees, Kerri Sparkman has obtained several certifications in the field of education. Kerri is an Apple Learning Coach, having received this certification from Apple in September 2021. Kerri is also a SMART Trainer, having obtained this certification from SMART Technologies in March 2021. Kerri is recognized as an Apple Teacher, having completed the Apple Teacher program in January 2021. Furthermore, they are a certified Google Educator Level 1 & 2, acquiring this certification from Google in December 2020. Kerri is also a Google Trainer, having received this certification from Google in June 2016. Lastly, Kerri Sparkman holds a Texas Teacher Certification for T&I (Trade & Industrial Education), obtained from the Texas State Board of Education in August 2010.
