Walt Stoneburner

Walt Stoneburner has extensive work experience in various roles related to software engineering, technology solutions, and management. Walt served as the Director of Advanced Technology Solutions at Bogart Associates of Northern Virginia from January 2020 to the present, where they specialized in innovation, R&D, and application development using microservices and AWS. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from August 2016 to January 2020, where they were an SME in various technologies and scripting languages.

Before joining Bogart Associates, Stoneburner worked independently as a hardware and software consultant at Stoneburner Digital Services since 1985. Walt has also held positions such as CTO at The Parent Institute, where they played a critical role in managing system infrastructure, product development, and marketing analytics. Additionally, they served as the CTO at Emperitas Services Group, focusing on developing analytical software solutions and providing guidance to students.

Stoneburner's earlier experiences include roles as a Software Engineer at GSM Consulting, a Senior Principal Consultant at Oracle, a Principal Consultant at Endeca, a Principal Software Engineer at Potomac Fusion, a Software Engineer at Everest Technology Solutions, and a Senior Systems Engineer at BESC. Throughout these roles, they gained expertise in enterprise application design, big data, Unix development, and various programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript.

Walt Stoneburner attended Roanoke College from 1986 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science and Statistics. Walt successfully completed their studies in both fields during this period.
