Ahmet Aydemir

Ahmet Aydemir serves as the Director of the Environment, Energy & Sustainability Research Center at Istanbul Bilgi University and holds the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution. Aydemir has a diverse background in sustainable development, coordinating numerous projects for the European Commission and various Turkish agencies. Aydemir is the founder of Aydemir Consultancy and serves on the advisory board of Awen for Us, contributing to gender equality initiatives. Additional roles include Training Program Manager at Baltas International Group and Science Board Member at Yuvam Dünya, focusing on climate literacy. Aydemir has previously held leadership positions in academic and administrative capacities at institutions such as BAU GLOBAL and Bahcesehir University. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Management & Organizations from Boğaziçi University and Ghent University, along with an MBA from Boğaziçi University and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology from Koç University.
