Matej Prochazka

Matej Prochazka has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Matej currently serves as a Development Product Lead at Bohemia Interactive Simulations since July 2019. Prior to that, they were a Senior Producer at the same company from September 2015 to June 2019.

Before joining Bohemia Interactive Simulations, Matej worked as the Deputy Head of Cooperative at Druzstvo 522 from March 2014 to March 2018. Matej also briefly served as an Area Development Manager at 4finance, where they led 7 country support teams in Java development and handled hiring, from January 2015 to March 2015.

In their previous roles, Matej demonstrated their leadership abilities and skills in software development and team management. Matej was a Software Development Manager at Koukaam, managing 8 team leaders and 28 staff members and reporting directly to the CEO, from June 2011 to March 2013. Matej also served as the R&D Manager at Y Soft, leading three teams and handling employee growth, from April 2013 to November 2014.

Matej's earlier experiences include roles such as Global Development Leader and EMEA IT Team Leader at Allyn International, where they managed software development teams and implemented cost-cutting initiatives. Matej was also a Data Analyst at Vojenska Zdravotni Pojistovna, responsible for data preparation and business intelligence solution development.

Matej Prochazka is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at TCBS from 2019 to 2024. In 1994, they attended the University of Hradec Králové for a four-year program in Computer Science and English language, which they did not complete. In 1997, they temporarily attended The University of Texas at Austin for Computer Science studies. Before that, from 1990 to 1994, they studied at Gymnazium Na Vitezne plani. Apart from their formal education, Matej Prochazka has obtained several certifications, including SAFe SPC from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2017, PSM Level I from Scrum.org in 2015, and a Certified LeSS Practicioner certification from Less.Works, obtained in an unspecified year.
