John Stauffer's work experience began in 1987 as a Civil Draftsman at Base Engineering. In 1988, they joined American Resource Consultants as a Cad Manager / Environmental Technician, a role they held until 1996. In 1996, Stauffer joined Bohler Engineering where they served as the Manager of Information Systems (MIS) until 2015. John then transitioned to the Software Development Team Lead position at the same company. Their responsibilities included managing Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory, making computer-related purchasing decisions, providing user support for a Microsoft XP network, and overseeing the Cad Design Department. John also developed custom DB applications using Visual Basic .Net, SQL Server, Active Server Pages, and Autodesk products.

John Stauffer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Villanova University, where they attended from 1997 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Applied Drafting Technology with a focus on CAD Design and Drafting from Lincoln Technical Institute, attending from 1987 to 1988.
