Mark Mao

Mark Mao is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and technology law. Currently serving as a Partner and Practice Chair at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP since July 2019, Mark leads the Technology Practice and the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice, while also participating on the Contingency Committee. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Partner and Practice Chair for Privacy at Troutman Pepper, where Mark co-chaired the Data Privacy Practice. Mark's background includes positions as Partner and Practice Lead at Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP, where responsibilities included chairing the Technology Practices Group, as well as time spent at Dillingham & Murphy, LLP, Liner LLP, and Adleson, Hess & Kelly APC in various legal roles. Mark began a career in consulting as an IT Consultant with Arthur Anderson Consulting. Mark earned a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
