Matthew L. Schwartz

Matthew L. Schwartz currently serves as Chairman and Managing Partner at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, a position held since January 2015, and is a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to this, Matthew Schwartz worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York from October 2005 to January 2015 and gained teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, instructing in Lawyering Skills and Legal Writing. Legal experience includes clerkships with the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, during which Matthew Schwartz was appointed Special Master in a significant multi-district litigation case. Academically, Matthew Schwartz earned a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Philosophy from Columbia College, Columbia University.
