Joel Damron

Joel Damron is an experienced emergency services professional with a diverse background in firefighting, law enforcement, and emergency medical response. Currently serving as a Captain and Inspector/Investigator at the Boise City Fire Department since 2006, Joel has also co-owned and instructed at Emergency Consultants Group, teaching vital lifesaving skills. As a member of the Boise Fire Department Peer Support Team, Joel provides critical incident stress management support to colleagues. Previous roles include Protective Security Officer for a Homeland Security Contractor and Police Sergeant at Caldwell Police Department, where responsibilities encompassed tactical response and investigations. Joel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Pre-Medicine from The College of Idaho, along with various certifications in firefighting, emergency medical technology, and law enforcement.
