Matt Charles

Matt Charles is an experienced professional in the field of athletics, currently serving as the Director of Operations for Men's Basketball at Boise State Athletics since July 2023. Previously, Matt gained extensive experience at Oklahoma State University Athletics from August 2017 to July 2023, holding various roles including Graduate Assistant, Student Head Men's Basketball Manager, Student Event Management Manager, Student Men's Basketball Manager, and Student Equipment Manager. Additionally, Matt contributed to USA Basketball as U16 Support Staff in May 2021 and worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Pine Cove in 2018. Prior to these roles, Matt was the Program Director and Coach for Project Hoops Basketball from August 2016 to August 2017. Matt holds a Master of Science in Leisure Studies and two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Sports Management and Marketing, all from Oklahoma State University, along with a high school diploma from Kingwood High School.
